Henwood Court’s Nick Platt and Katherine Woolley received a very special Christmas present from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) when they learned they had both passed different stages of the tough CII professional development exam programme.
Katherine (24), Client Services Coordinator at HWC, completed her CF3 exam in Financial Protection and will go on to study for additional units during this year.
HWC lead Financial Planner, Nick Platt, was successful in the CII’s Pension Income Options exam and is now entitled to hold the Institute’s Diploma In Financial Services.
Nick commented: “Continuing professional development is critical to the quality of service we provide. As professional financial planners we are required to maintain the highest standards in our professional knowledge and skills and everyone in the Henwood Court Team is committed to this.
It’s good for clients and it’s good for our staff. The FSA’s recently published Retail Distribution Review places great emphasis on this aspect of our competence and we welcome this.
After all, you wouldn’t want to employ an under-qualified electrician, so why employ and under-qualified financial planner and adviser?”
