Nick Splashes Out
Nick Platt, well known for his love of the Beautiful Game (if you can call it that for a Walsall supporter!), is perhaps less famous for his marine skills!
However, along with a group of 20 friends, Nick recently completed a 1.4 mile open water swim in the seas off Dorset between Bournemouth and Boscombe Pier.
Over 1500 swimmers took part and Nick's group swam on behalf of the British Heart Foundation in memory of a close friend of them all.
As Nick said "1.4 miles doesn't sound far but when you're out there in the waves, every stroke's a bit of battle, but I really enjoyed it and the camaraderie was fantastic!"
